Team News

PSG
Newcastle
  • Presnel Kimpembe is close to a return to fitness but this one comes too soon for the centre-back.
  • Elsewhere, Keylor Navas, Nuno Mendes, Sergio Rico, Marquinhos and Warren Zaire-Emery are absent.
  • Joe Willock is set for another spell on the sidelines, which is a huge blow for Newcastle.
  • Willock joins Callum Wilson, Harvey Barnes, Matt Targett, Elliot Anderson and Jacob Murphy on the sidelines.
  • Dan Burn and Sven Botman are also absent, with Lewis Hall set to deputise for the former.

Prediction

  • PSG sit second in Group F in what is undoubtedly the group of death in the Champions League this season. Both wins have come at home so they'll look to make it three from three when they welcome injury-hit Newcastle to the Parc des Princes.
  • Newcastle foot the group, but victory in France would see them leapfrog PSG into second, such is the tightness of the group. The Magpies returned to domestic duties with a superb 4-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend.
  • However, PSG's form at home should see them secure all the spoils on Tuesday night.

  • A penalty called in last minute of any match should be a clear one. Otherwise it's suspicious. Ball firstly rebounded in the stomach and after in the elbow. No penalty to me I'm disappointed. Also disappointed from Magpies , they played so conservative during all the second half, did not create any risky play.

  • @dib *chest, not stomach

  • Barcola should have a note -10. Useless himself and interrupted others when they could have scored.

  • newcastle had the answers in midfield last time vs psg, and their incisiveness in attack exposed the indecisive psg defense that's been the same since the takeover bar maybe 19/20. it was also a lackluster psg performance and seeing newcastle not doing well in the group afterwards makes me pretty convinced that at home psg will be, at the very least, able to outscore them. they are not good enough to beat them by more than 2 goals provided that newcastle stay at least half as solid as they were in the first leg. 3-1
