Fantasy Football: Who to buy, sell and captain for gameweek 15
It might be Christmas but it's certainly not the time to take your eye off the ball as far as Fantasy Football is concerned.
The Boxing Day transfer deadline will pass you by before you know it if you aren't on top of your team.
With Manchester United travelling to Leicester in Saturday's early kick-off, the deadline for changes is 11:00. If you anticipate nursing any Christmas Day hangovers then it's best to get your team locked in before hand.
As always, we are on hand to help. We have scoured the fixtures and picked out a player to buy, sell and captain for gameweek 15.
Player to buy: Marcus Rashford (Man Utd) - 9.5M
Before getting into our pick, we have to make you aware of Sergio Aguero's record against Newcastle. The Manchester City striker has scored 15 goals in 11 Premier League appearances against the Magpies and has netted two hat-tricks in that time. They are by far his favourite opponent in the Premier League. However, still on the comeback from injury it may prove a gamble transfering him in here.
Manchester United head to Leicester on Boxing Day looking to maintain their remarkable 100 per cent record on the road in the Premier League this season. Marcus Rashford has particularly enjoyed his travels this season, with all nine of his Premier League goal contributions coming away from Old Trafford. In fact, only Jack Grealish (8.21) has a higher WhoScored away rating than Rashford (8.12) in the Premier League this season. Rashford has also scored in two of the last three meetings between the two sides.
Player to sell: Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal) - 5M
Despite the fact Arsenal are on a seven-game winless streak, Gabriel is still in 8% of your Fantasy Premier League teams. He has made a good start to life at Arsenal and is their highest WhoScored rated player in the competition but the Gunners are in turmoil and there is no end in sight. Mikel Arteta's side were thumped 4-1 by Manchester City on Tuesday and next up is a Boxing Day visit of London rivals Chelsea. Christmas is a bad one for Arsenal. Based on WhoScored form, Gabriel is bang out of it. His WhoScored rating for the season is 6.81 but on form, which is based his last six appearances, it is just 6.36. In fact, only six Premier League outfielders have a worse form rating than the Brazilian.
Player to captain: Mohamed Salah
We are in triple captain terrority here. Mohamed Salah needed only 33 minutes on the pitch against Crystal Palace last time out to score two and register one assist and Liverpool now welcome strugglers West Brom. The Baggies didn't benefit from new manager bounce last time out, losing 3-0 at home to Aston Villa and supporters must now be fearing the worst ahead of a trip to Anfield.
Salah has scored in four straight matches heading into Sunday's match, is the league's top scorer (13) and has netted in the last two encounters with West Brom. Dare to be great and slap a triple captain armband on the 28-year-old.
