  • @Kybler I agree with most of the things you re saying, but I think we ll need to see how RVP and Rooney will be together for 3-4 games to judge. It just might work.

  • Completely agree with Kybler. Ibra is doing really well. He scored all the goals for PSG. I think that should have been counted.

  • Van Persie has 4 goals in 3 appearances.

  • Wait, he missed his peno and only has 3 appearances.

  • RVP has 4 already, no? Penos must not be counted then.

  • Van Persie is a good signing in terms of his impact on games, though I still doubt how he'll fit in with Rooney with Rooney on the pitch with him. You have 2 great player and you must play them in their favourite position to use them to maximum. Rooney is a striker, so is Van Persie (obviously), but I don't think using them together in the box would be effective, Van Persie prefers to play alone in the box, he wouldn't fit in next to Rooney, yet if you used Rooney as wide player to cut in, you'd be limiting his abilities, and if you used him just behind Van Persie you'll limit Kagawa's vision and get him out of position(note United are playing in 4-2-3-1 formation). I think Rooney's injury is going to help Van Persie fit in better so we'll see more of him.
