Tottenham are still a very good team even though they lost this game. I am a Chelsea fan, but you have to admire Tottenham's winning streak. Maybe next year :D
Very disappointed in the result. Was it exhaustion from a record nine game winning streak or did you just give up on the title race? Start next season in a better way, Spurs, like Man-City did this one but without the lag. You can win, and with a big margin.
@Spyro The fact that there are Chelsea fans on here checking this result proves that there was a title race. That doesn't mean it was close but Conte himself rated Chelsea's chances as 50:50 (17th April). Gamesmanship probably - but if there was no title race then why the need for gamesmanship.
@MEHJones Yeah mathematically they were able to win the title, but if you keep in mind all the other factors (massive difference in difficulty of remaining fixtures, experience, being able to loose,...), it was clear Chelsea would win easily. In my opinion, you can talk about a title race when the team in the first spot can't afford to drop points. And Chelsea can afford it. In fact they were even able to drop 11 points a month ago, which happened against CP & United.
my match analysis is tottenham lost to west ham because west hams defence has improved over the month and tottenham players looked tired they won 10 matches in a row in the premier league not counting the fa cup loss to chelsea and that unbeaten streak had to end somewhere and they always had problems in past fixtures at west hams stadium plus west ham had 1 extra day of rest.
Even without this loss I didn't see Chelsea lose the titel, they are much more mature and experienced. Look at how many players already played in a CL final for example: Pedro, Fabregas, Luiz, Costa, Courtois, Cahill,... Spurs need to keep this squad together and should try to perform as consistent as this season in the future, then they will be a regular top 4 team.
@Spyro True but remember that Pedro, Fabregas, Costa, Courtois, Cahill were also part of the Chelsea side last year that finished 10th, conceded 53 goals, and lost 12 games (including games against Bournemouth, Sunderland, Palace, and Swansea).
@makani Well they lost bye bye PL title.....against Chelsea or even Manchester City i would easily deal with the slip up....but West Ham #%$@+×€ West Ham really
@makani As a Chelsea fan I'd like Tottenham to lose too but it really doesn't matter that much, we handle our own business and don't worry what everyone else is doing.
I await Pochettino's tactical approach to this game with great interest. The tactical approach of both managers will be intriguing. Tottenham win is likely, but West Ham will certainly not be easy and a possible stumbling block for Spurs.

A very good result for West Ham particularly as they were missing Carroll and Antonio and their first win against anyone in the top 8 this season.
I am really curious why people think that winning 9 or 10 matches in a row is exhausting? Maybe losing is better?

@Bol There was never really a title race, just look at Chelsea's easy fixtures + they can afford to loose a game.

@Spyro The away match at Everton was certainly not an easy match on paper and Chelsea deserve credit for winning that one.
Who scored and their lame predictions always. I think they should just stick to cards predictions they're better there

@jefferee WhoScored? don't have 100% success rate but it's certainly better than most of the people who make predictions on here.
@jefferee They are not essentially lame, they do shed light. Besides, our contribution space allows for further refinement of view.

@RemyLebeu Your analysis was fine.

Good result - feel free to downvote:)
@tar88s I can't find the downvote button.
@tar88s lol
Spurs are unable to unlock the West Ham defence so far , surely a draw won't be enough
i hope tottenham lost

@Cornflake " we... don't worry what everyone else is doing." he says on the message board of a match that doesn't involve Chelsea match LOL
@makani Why?
All west have is a new defence system - no strikers and will defend like an away side. 0-1 or 0-2
@eastend1 shows how much I know :-)
Somehow, I see this as a draw. Out of 6 H2H matches at West ham, the records are W3 L3
Kane should increase his goal count here easily. West Ham 0-3 Tottenham.
@Bol he wasn't even playing - was he?

@tristankleyn "Old Woom" so funny lol
Easy win for Tottenham 0-2
draw @ 2 - 2
West Ham 0 - 2 Spurs
