Team News

Liverpool
Brighton
  • Joel Matip, Emre Can, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez are all ruled out for Liverpool.
  • Adam Lallana is a doubt with a thigh problem, but may still feature in some capacity here.
  • Simon Mignolet, Alberto Moreno, Ragnar Klavan, Nathaniel Clyne and Danny Ings may all come into the XI for Loris Karius, Andrew Robertson, Dejan Lovren, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino as Jurgen Klopp has one eye on the Champions League final.
  • Steve Sidwell remains Chris Hughton's only injury concern ahead of Brighton's trip to Liverpool.
  • Glenn Murray could come in for Leonardo Ulloa it what may be the Seagulls' only change to the side that lost at Manchester City.

Prediction

  • Liverpool's form has stuttered of late, with the Reds picking up just one win in their last five league matches. They'll be focusing on the Champions League final, but aren't guaranteed a top-4 finish just yet as they sit just two points above Chelsea.
  • Brighton have guaranteed their top-flight safety and will look to end the campaign on a high. With nothing to play for, they can play without pressure, though come into Sunday's trip to Anfield on the back of a 12-match away winless run.
  • Even with much of the focus on their meeting with Real Madrid later this month, Liverpool should end their current three-match winless run with victory on Sunday.

  • Why has Solanke's assist not been recorded?

  • @FelixKrull There was a slight deflection on the pass.

  • Congrats Liverpool on getting Champions league football at the expense of Chelsea!

  • Congratulations Mo Salah!

  • Not giving Solanke the assist for the first goal is a bit harsh...

  • The Reds just want to draw.. and they dont need to attack.. 4-2-3-1 ?

  • What. Why would Klopp rotate in this game, it might shape their entire next season. CL final it's two weeks from now, c'mon. Liverpool to win, Salah to contribute but not to score.

  • @truestory what if he scored and contributed ? its a true story

  • Liverpool to win in 1st half

  • Over 2.5

  • Dead loss for Brighton, embarrassing to win, embarrassing to lose by a hatfull. Best bet would be Liverpool to be safe and pinch a last winner equaliser. Even conceding early or be 2-0 down would not cause great trepidations. Predict a Slam Dunk.

  • @Perseus A slam Lewis Dunk...? I'll show myself out.

  • salah will score 3 goals

  • @amrsaleh If Liverpool start taking the piss, Brighton will have to start playing. This week, one easy game for Brighton (Man U) and a testimonial (Man City) so there is no need to score more than two. Won't be a treble calamity surely? Practice the set pieces. Brighton are appalling at defending them. Bus is the best in the business.

  • lallana will be available

  • If Liverpool start Moreno at left back Brighton will get at least a draw here. Mignolet has had little to no game time for months as well, I cannot see this being a clear cut 3:0 win, maybe a high scoring draw. 2:2

  • Salah to score & probably win Golden Boot

  • @Geolardo Wat?

  • @Lapulga A trophy for scoring the most goals in the Premier League.

  • Should be at least 3-0

  • Brighton don't seem very good at conceding goals from open play on their travels. Not very good at losing possession or miscontrolling the ball either.
