Team News

Sivasspor
Fenerbahce
  • Ziya Erdal has served his suspension and will return to the starting lineup, deputising for the injured Ugur Ciftci.
  • Leke James continues to receive treatment for a minor injury. Mustapha Yatabare is set to lead the attack here.
  • Altay Bayindir will have a hip operation and is unlikely to feature again for the remainder of the season. So, Irfan Can Egribayat will start in goal.
  • Irfan Can Kahveci and Mert Hakan Yandas will deputise for the suspended Emre Mor and injured Miha Zajc respectively.
  • Lincoln has suffered a cruciate ligament rupture and will not feature again for the remainder of the season.
  • Both Joshua King and Mich Batshuayi might be included in the squad, but if so, will likely start on the bench.

Prediction

  • Sivasspor recorded an impressive away win beating Antalyaspor 2-1 last time out. They conceded a few too many chances for Calimbay's liking but managed to get all three points in the end, largely thanks to Vural's heroics in goal and Yatabare's performance up front. They are a very strong side at home and will cause Fenerbahce problems.
  • Fenerbahce were held to a shocking 3-3 draw by Istanbulspor last time out. Their rivals Galatasaray had dropped points and this was a massive opportunity for Jorge Jesus' men to close the gap, but they were unable to, with a poor defensive performance against relegation candidates Istanbulspor. The alarm bells had been ringing for a while with the Canaries coming back from losing positions on too many occasions lately. Unless their defending improves miraculously in the span of a few days, they will struggle here.
