Team News

Aston Villa
Brighton
  • Aston Villa still have a number of injury concerns, with up to four players potentially ruled out for this one.
  • Leon Bailey was forced off through injury in Wednesday's Carabao Cup third round match against Everton, and will likely miss out here.
  • Brighton will remain without Julio Enciso, who faces an extended period out injured.
  • Jakub Moder Pascal Gross will also miss this one through injury, while James Milner is a doubt.

Prediction

  • Aston Villa bounced back from defeat in their Europa League opener last week at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with a 1-0 victory, but were beaten by Everton in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
  • Unai Emery's side have made a somewhat shaky start to the season, but have won both of their Premier League home matches so far.
  • Brighton were also beaten in the cup, against Chelsea, but claimed all three points against Bournemouth last time out in the league.
  • The Seagulls are currently third, with 15 points from six matches, and will be hoping to maintain their strong start to the campaign.
  • A close affair is expected in this one, with a draw perhaps a fair outcome.

  • De Zerbi has had his head turned by Real Madrid :)

  • rubbish performance

  • brighton is the most overrated team in epl

  • @wdetac - That's a ludicrous amount of recency bias. Did you say the same when they beat Newcastle 3-1 and won at Old Trafford? They have one of the lowest budgets in the league. They have been overperforming just by staying in the PL, let alone finishing in the upper half in the table, qualifying for Europe and right now occupying one of the CL places.

  • Over 2.5 goals

  • @Marbella That was easy :)

  • 3-2 or 2-2. Aston won't lose.

  • BHA still missing easy chances.
