Team News

Liverpool
Crystal Palace
  • Liverpool's list of injuries reduced to just four in midweek, as the likes of Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold returned to the matchday squad.
  • Oliver Glasner could be without as many as seven players here.
  • Michael Olise returned to play a part from the bench against Manchester City last weekend and could be in line to start.

Prediction

  • Liverpool were stunned on Thursday night as Atalanta claimed a 3-0 victory at Anfield in their Europa League quarter-final first leg.
  • Jurgen Klopp's side dropped points at Old Trafford last weekend, too, and will hope to bounce back from two disappointing results with a victory here.
  • Crystal Palace have still won just once since Oliver Glasner's arrival in February.
  • Since that home victory over Burnley, the Eagles have drawn two and lost three of their league games.
  • Palace are by no means over the line yet, and another defeat here could see them end the weekend as low as 16th.

  • Is this the team managed by the coach usually called 'better than Guardiola' ?

  • In the past week Liverpool have bottled it big time.Atalanta will inflict even more damage on Thursday in Italy.

  • @Marbella sounds like easy bet for you. Go all-in please

  • Liverpool were never a real title contender. The race is between Arsenal and Manchester City, the same as last season.

  • I checked the odds last night and the scoreline to be 1-1 at some point with 5.00 seemed pretty reasonable, thought Liverpool would leave it late and then win 2-1. Then checked the form of Palace and thought it would be too risky, Liverpool at Anfield could win this game by margin. But wow, what a downfall in a such a short time. I don't remember seeing a red injured icon player in preview starting before, they need Alisson back this bad? It's understandable if players don't care about UEL, but they just bottled the league as well and it's a lovely day for us United fans.

  • This is the most desperately pathetic excuse for a send off for Klopp. These players should be ashamed.

  • Liverpool HT losing 0-1.I cannot see them coming back to Win this.Man City and Arsenal will be laughing.

  • Woeful from Liverpool again. I really don't understand how and why this is happening every game

  • @sarigginsUSA It's simple - they suck. And they have sucked all season.

  • Losing yet again

  • LIVERPOOL Alisson, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Jones, Salah, Diaz, Nunez.

  • SUBS Kelleher, Gomez, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah

  • Liverpool should not use Endo as the first team player, he is useless, go choose another better player please.

  • @Leokh Worst take of 2024.

  • After two disappointing results and a string of underwhelming performances, it’s really hard to predict if Liverpool will actually respond here, but whether the performance is good or not, I think Liverpool will get the win here. Realistically, they need to smash Palace up to get closer to parity with regards to goal difference with Arsenal.

  • Liverpool have Won 13 of their 16 league home games this season.
