Team News

Real Madrid
Las Palmas
  • Real should start with Joselu, who scored in his first three games at home. It seemed as though leaving him out for 45 minutes against Atleti on Sunday left Jude Bellingham too isolated.
  • Luka Modric could be replaced by Aurelien Tchouameni after being hooked at half time in the Madrid derby.
  • It would not be surprising if Ferland Mendy was rotated in for Fran Gracia.
  • Daley Sinkgraven could return to the team as he returns from injury. Mika Marmol is suspensed, having picked up two yellow cards against Granada.
  • Sory Kaba could replace Munir, having came off the bench to grab an assist on Sunday.

Prediction

  • Real Madrid suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Atletico on Sunday, and will have to seriously regroup if they want to dispatch Las Palmas.
  • Jude Bellingham seemed to be playing centre forward on his own during the first half, and barely had a touch. Once Joselu was brought on they showed signs of clawing the game back to a draw, but it was too late. Sloppy defending and numerical disadvantages meant they never had a chance of taking the points.
  • It seems as though Joselu will be relied on a good deal more than he was originally brought in to be, acting as a target man to facilitate Bellingham and Rodrygo.
  • Las Palmas got an important six-pointer victory over Granada on Sunday which saw them climb out of the relegation zone. However, they have not scored in their last four matches on the road.
  • A Real Madrid victory is surely the outcome here.
