Team News

Sevilla
Mallorca
  • Marcos Acuna returns from suspension and should fill in for Kike Salas on the left, who is serving a one-match-ban.
  • Youssef En Nesyri returned last week against Las Palmas to score the opener. Dodi Lukebakio scored, he could be in competition with Isaac Romero for a starting spot.
  • Other than Djibril Sow's season ending foot injury, Sevilla can boast a clean bill of health.
  • Mallorca have no injuries to report, with Dani Rodriguez, Toni Lato, and Copete returning to the side.
  • Cyle Larin was left out against Real, but should return to a double attacking pivot on the road this weekend.
  • Antonio Sanchez played off the right for the first time this season, his versatility has proved useful for Javier Aguirre this season.

Prediction

  • Sevilla welcome a stoic Mallorca to El Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for a vital six pointer in the bottom half of La Liga. With only three points separating the two, both sides are searching for guaranteed safety in the coming games. Mallorca are in real trouble of slipping into the relegation fight if they lose this one and results go against them.
  • Javier Aguirre's men will be looking to draw inspiration from their 1-0 victory over Sevilla back in December - Cyle Larin scored one of his only two goals for the club and will feel he still has something to prove to his new side. On the other side, Isaac Romero was wasteful for Sevilla last week and will be hungry to bounce back.
  • Sevilla are the favourites here, but Mallorca have marginally more on the line with this result...
