Team News

Braga
Arouca
  • Roger should start once again after a delightful performance, with a couple of assists and a goal last time around.
  • Former coach Artur Jorge left to Botafogo in midweek and will be replaced by Rui Duarte until the end of the season. It remains to be seen wether the caretaker manager will make wholesale changes here.
  • Tiago Esgaio, who scored last weekend, is unavailable as he cannot face his parent club. Milovanov should deputise.
  • Trezza, who was not expected to start anyway, will serve a match ban due to an accumulation of bookings.

Prediction

  • SC Braga came out on top of an 8-goal thriller against Portimonense SC last time around. They were leaky at the back but were effective in front of goal, which allowed them to get closer to FC Porto at 3rd place.
  • After back-to-back defeats, FC Arouca returned to winning ways at home against SC Farense, beating them by 2-1. They're pratically safe at the league table but will look to reach the 50-point mark.
  • This should be an interesting match between two sides who are very offensive minded. A lot of goals are expected with SC Braga maybe coming out on top despite the sudden departure of Artur Jorge.
