Team News

Colorado
Nashville SC
  • Colorado has a clean bill of health heading into this match.
  • Ben Martino is out with a left hip injury.
  • Randall Leal is out 4-6 weeks with a hamstring injury.
  • Hany Mukhtar (hip) and Sam Surridge (shoulder) are both questionable as they have missed the last two matches.

Prediction

  • Colorado had a season opener to forget, as Portland had the chainsaw shredding logs en route to a 4-1 buzzsaw. It will be back to the drawing board for new coach Chris Armas. The good news is they are back home in the Rocky Mountains and will try to make Dick's Sporting Goods Park a fortress like it's been in the past.
  • Nashville had no issue dispatching Moca 7-0 on aggregate in the Concacaf Champions Cup first round. In their MLS opener, they struggled with RBNY and were thoroughly dominated, although they escaped with a 0-0 draw. It seems the team is playing it safe with Hany Mukhtar and Sam Surridge, but we could see both in some capacity this weekend.
