Deportivo Riestra have won three of their last five matches but a 4-1 defeat to Godoy Cruz last time out will no doubt have damaged them to some degree.
In spite of that disappointment, Riestra continue to perform above expectation and are safely in mid-table ahead of this one.
Sarmiento have taken real strides in recent weeks with three consecutive 0-0 draws setting the tone for the defensive resilience Israel Damonte prides himself on.
Goals continue to be a problem for Sarmiento however with just seven league goals scored in 11 matches so far.
