- Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes made two changes to the Killie team that was battered at Ibrox where they lost 4-1 to Rangers, before a 1-0 win over St Mirren in Paisley secured a fourth-place finish in the Scottish Premiership.
- Joe Wright was sent off against Rangers so missed the match against St Mirren, as Robbie Deas came into the Killie backline to join Corrie Ndaba, Stuart Findlay and Lewis Mayo. Matty Kennedy and Danny Armstrong continued on the flanks.
- David Watson scooped the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award recently, and he took Liam Polworth's place to join Liam Donnelly in the middle of the park. Marley Watkins and the weekend matchwinner Kyle Vassell lead the line.
- Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers named just one change to the Celts side that hammered Hearts 3-0 at Parkhead, before another derby day victory over Rangers as they won 2-1 at Celtic Park on Saturday and are on the verge of the league title.
- Liam Scales accompanied Cameron Carter-Vickers at the heart of the Hoops defence as Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor continued at right-back and left-back respectively. Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Matt O'Riley carried on in midfield.
- Daizen Maeda was back on the bench against Hearts, but replaced Nicholas Kuhn in the only change at the weekend. He and James Forrest supported Kyogo Furuhashi in attack, against bitter rivals Rangers on Saturday at lunchtime.
