- Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes made four changes after Killie were held at home in a 3-3 draw against Dundee United, before a terrific turnaround late on saw them leave Dens Park with three points after a 3-2 victory over Dundee.
- Robby McCrorie took Kieran O'Hara's place in goal behind three centre backs of Corrie Ndaba, Lewis Mayo and the incoming Robbie Deas who replaced Stuart Findlay and Jack Burroughs as Killie switched to a 3-5-2 formation.
- Matty Kennedy and Danny Armstrong continued on the flanks, with Brad Lyons joined by David Watson and Liam Donnelly as opposed to Liam Polworth in the middle of the park. Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins lead the line once again despite Bruce Anderson coming off the bench to score last time out.
- Rangers boss Philippe Clement made two changes from the Gers' humbling at home to Lyon as OL won 4-1 in their Europa League meeting, before bouncing back with a 2-0 win over St Johnstone at Ibrox before the international break.
- Jack Butland continued in goal behind an unchanged back four of James Tavernier, John Souttar, Robin Pröpper and Jefte. Nicolas Raskin replaced Connor Barron in midfield, to partner Mohamed Diomande in front of the back four.
- Tom Lawrence missed out through an injury picked up in the Lyon defeat. He was replaced by Ross McCausland, who accompanied Nedim Bajrami and Vaclav Cerny - who bagged a brace against Saints - in support of lone striker Cyriel Dessers.
