Team News

Galatasaray
Alanyaspor
  • As Victor Osimhen is injured, Okan Buruk is expected to revert back to 4-2-3-1 and use Yunus Akgun on the left wing.
  • Ali Yesilyurt, who wasn't expected to start here, is also injured.
  • Nuno Lima is set to deputise for the injured Furkan Bayir.

Prediction

  • Galatasaray were held to a 3-3 draw by Kasimpasa last time out. Then, they dropped two points at RFS in the midweek Europa League tie, which, for the fans, was an even more embarrassing result. A large group of supporters is calling for Buruk's head already but the board is certainly not going to make such a move. This is a good opportunity for the Lions to get back to winning ways as Alanyaspor play open, attacking football and often leave space at the back.
  • Alanyaspor were 1-0 winners against Rizespor last time out. They haven't lost in their last three outings but even against Rizespor - a team in utter chaos - Tekke's team conceded quite a few chances. They might score here as Gala's defence isn't in top form but are unlikely to get anything out of the game.
