  • Hello to the Cheese Room podcast if you're here again.

  • Hmm. Even with their B team City are quite capable of ripping Tottenham's first team apart. However, Postecoglou really needs a win, Tottenham are at home, and they tend to do relatively well against City. Tottenham 2-1 Man City

  • @MEHJones Wow, you got a prediction right for once! Kudos! :-D

  • @Sputnik You clearly aren't stalking me hard enough. I correctly predicted that Tottenham would drop points at Palace, I correctly predicted that Tottenham would beat AZ Alkmaar by a single goal, and I've correctly predicted the last four results for Wales. : P

  • @MEHJones What dross are you here spouting? City's A team struggles against Spurs.

  • @Ausp I wrote that they are capable not that they do : )

  • Spurs win, Moore to score (I think he starts).

  • @koziol.mutant at 90 min ?

  • @Mojje yep. sorry for late reply

  • @koziol.mutant thanks

  • Postecoglu said he always win the trophy on his second season. Man City's second string team is stronger that Tottenham's. If Spurs go with their strongest available players, they should be able to beat City. This is their best chance to get a trophy because teams that are better than them, City, Arsenal and Liverpool usually play some kids. If I were Big Angel, I'd go hard for league cup and Europa League because the FA Cup and Premier league are the pie in the sky for them. I predict 1-2 for City, only because think Spurs will try to be smart and add few kids on their line up which will be a kick in the teeth for them.

  • @GoonerRSA Tottenham have exactly 0% chance to win the Europa League. As for the League Cup, maybe they actually can, yes.

  • Why in every season spurs are the only one favourite to beat the city

  • @MickeyClark Historically, Tottenham have a very good record against City. It's possible it becomes self reinforcing because the fans know it and the players pick up on it. So although history shouldn't matter, with such fine margins somehow knowledge of it often does. See also Tottenham's poor record against Liverpool and Chelsea.

  • @MEHJones Yet you guys still sold your souls to the devil at the end of last season...

  • @MickeyClark what do you mean by "favourite"?

  • Both teams to score

  • City Win, Spurs are Trash

  • @KingKeno lol it would happen today

  • @KingKeno Tottenham have beaten City many times in the past decade.

  • @MEHJones Flukes

  • @KingKeno City DNB

  • both teams to score in both halve s

  • over 1.5 first half goals
