Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri is expected to be rewarded with a bumper new contract after staying at the club this season, claims Foot Mercato.
Seri was heavily linked with a move away from Nice all summer with the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain all interested at one point during the transfer window.
However, PSG put an end to their pursuit of the Ivory Coast international on Thursday and now Nice will hand Seri a new contract extension as a reward for staying.
Nice will also allow Seri to leave next summer if suitors come forward with an acceptable offer for the 26-year-old.
Since the start of last season, only PSG midfielder Thiago Motta (2879) has completed more passes in Ligue 1 than Seri (2755).
