Man Utd pair Fernandes and Casemiro among the Premier League's form players

There is a new leader atop the final Premier League form standings of the season with Everton's Dwight McNeil dropping down to second. Stars from Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool make the cut, while London quarter Brentford, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Fulham are also represented.

10. Lucas Paqueta (West Ham) - 7.46

Having spent big to sign Lucas Paqueta last summer, West Ham fans are beginning to see why the club made the Brazilian their club record signing. Paqueta's best rated performance of the season came in last weekend's 3-1 win over Leeds as supporters start to see the best of the former Lyon man, noted in a WhoScored form rating of 7.46.

9. Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) - 7.48

Having been an assist machine of late, Riyad Mahrez has failed to have a direct hand in a goal in his last two league outings, which has seen the Manchester City star drop down to ninth in the Premier League form standings. Nevertheless, the Algerian still boasts a fine WhoScored form rating of 7.48 coming into the final day of the season.

8. Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) - 7.49

Another dropping down the form leaderboard, Eberechi Eze has still returned a solid WhoScored form rating of 7.49, and his superb showings in a Crystal Palace shirt has seen him rewarded with an England call up. That said, the reason for the fall was due to his performance against Fulham knocking a man of the match performance against Southampton out of contention.

7. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 7.53

Mohamed Salah has enjoyed a superb end to the season, though it wasn't enough to help Liverpool to a top-four finish. Nevertheless, the Reds' flying end to the campaign bodes well for next season with Salah signing off on a high as evidenced by an excellent WhoScored form rating of 7.53.

6. Willian (Fulham) - 7.53

Willian has risen up the form rankings into sixth with a WhoScored form rating of 7.53. The Brazilian has proven an excellent signing for Fulham with a man of the match performance against Crystal Palace last time out propelling the experienced winger into the top 10 ahead of the Cottagers' trip to Manchester United.

5. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) - 7.55

A non-mover in the form standings, Trent Alexander-Arnold has, like Salah, enjoyed a brilliant end to the season having made a stuttering start to 2022/23. The Liverpool man has two assists and one goal in his last six outings, coupled with a man of the match performance against Fulham, to keep his place in the top five.

4. Casemiro (Manchester United) - 7.75

Moving up to fourth is Manchester United star Casemiro, who has returned a WhoScored form rating of 7.75. After a star man display against Bournemouth, the experienced Brazilian put in a man of the match performance against Chelsea in midweek, meaning the 31-year-old has put in a man of the match display in three of his last six league outings to contribute towards his rise.

3. Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - 7.77

Remaining in third spot is another key Manchester United man in Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese star scored his seventh league goal of the season on Thursday's 4-1 win over Chelsea and it means he has been directly involved in three goals in his last six league outings, scoring twice, to yield a WhoScored form rating of 7.77.

2. Dwight McNeil (Everton) - 7.82

Dropping off top spot ahead of Everton's crunch welcome of Bournemouth today, Dwight McNeil at least ends the campaign in great form as the Toffees seek to consolidate their Premeir League spot. McNeil has been directly involved in four league goals in his last six league outings, scoring three times, a run that includes a perfect 10 showing against Brighton.

1. Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) - 7.83

Pipping McNeil to top spot with a WhoScored form rating of 7.83 is Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo. Ivan Toney's eight-month ban may have derailed the Bees' season, but Mbeumo's superb showings of late have ensured Brentford remain in the hunt for a top-seven finish on the final day of the season. Indeed, the 23-year-old has been directly involved in six goals in his last six outings, scoring four times, and has won the man of the match award in three of those six games.
