WhoScored’s #AccaAssemble returns over the Easter weekend, with another round of Premier League fixtures. As usual we are using three of the Saturday 3pm Kick Offs, and we have asked our twitter community to choose who they would like to see in their three fold.
Over seven thousand voters got involved in our polls and the games chosen were Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest, Tottenham vs Brighton and Wolves vs Chelsea.
We use Oddschecker to ensure that we get the best price in the market to create our very own acca and offer some rationale behind the picks below.
Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest – Aston Villa Win
A massive 84% of voters have opted for an Aston Villa here and their recent form suggests why. Only Man City and Arsenal have picked up more points than Villa in 2023 and they have won five of their last six in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Nottingham Forest haven’t won an away fixture in the league since the 4th January, losing four in a row on the road. They have picked up just three points from their last eight fixtures in the league and are teetering around the drop zone in 17th.
So, Aston Villa are the first team included in this weeks treble.
Tottenham vs Brighton – Brighton Win
Tottenham are winless in their last two matches, having faced Southampton and Everton who are both fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table. With that said, Spurs did take all three points from the reverse fixture winning 1-0 on that occasion.
Brighton are one of the in-form sides in the Premier League and are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 league matches. Not only that, they have performed well on the road in 2023 and are yet to be beaten on their travels this calendar year.
Our Twitter community have decided that Brighton will be the choice in this week’s treble, with 61% of voters siding with the Seagulls.
Wolves vs Chelsea – Chelsea Win
Wolves have had their struggles this season, and arguably their biggest is their goal scoring record. They have scored the joint-fewest league goals this season (23). Wolves have won just one of their last seven in the league and are currently in 14th position, just the one point above the dreaded dotted line.
Chelsea aren’t without their own problems and will go into this game having recently partly with Graham Potter. The Blues are winless in their last three league games and are stuck in unfamiliar territory in the bottom half of the league, having won just 10 games all season.
Voters have decided that this will be the end of Chelsea’s winless run and that maybe a new manager might bring a new dawn to the West London outfit.
