First choice Tottenham foursome to return against Arsenal

Mauricio Pochettino is hoping that Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Hugo Lloris are back available for the trip to Arsenal having all rejoined full training on Thursday.

Victor Wanyama and Toby Alderweireld will not be fit enough to feature at the Emirates, however, with Eric Dier set to move back to the heart of Spurs’ favoured back three formation.

Mousa Dembele is also available following his own injury problems and is the favourite to line up in midfield alongside Alli and Denmark hat-trick hero Christian Eriksen.

For Arsenal, both Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck face late fitness tests but could be in contention for a return, though Olivier Giroud is definitely out along with long term absentee Santi Cazorla.

Alex Iwobi will be hoping for a start after a match winning brace over Nigeria in the international break, and Wenger must decide whether to leave out Mesut Ozil - as he did against Chelsea - in order to add more industry to his side.

Summer signings Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac are hoping to build upon impressive records at home already for the Gunners, each having had a hand in four league goals at the Emirates, while Kane - if fit - will be aiming to extend his scoring streak in the North London derby to six league matches.
