Football INDEX: Time to buy shares in Bayern Munich star

BUY – ARTURO VIDAL (BAYERN MUNICH)

After a stern conversation with Jupp Heynckes, Arturo Vidal has changed his application in training and Bayern Munich are now benefiting from that with his performances on the pitch.

The 30-year-old has scored in three consecutive Bundesliga matches and is in line to start away to Frankfurt this weekend after dropping to the bench in midweek.

Frankfurt are currently eighth in the Bundesliga, but Niko Kovac’s side have only won seven of their 22 points on home soil – the third worst return in the division.

Vidal is the highest WhoScored rated player in the Bundesliga (7.85) and, at the time of writing, will only set you back £1.26 a share. There has been a 0.41% spike in his price in the last 24 hours, so it’s important you get on this price before it rockets.

Still not convinced? If you wanted to buy shares in the highest WhoScored rated player from Europe’s top five leagues, Vidal is far and away the cheapest option right now. That's not bad for someone rated as the best player in his respective league.

BUY – AARON RAMSEY (ARSENAL)

For all of the plaudits that have been dished out to a number of Premier League midfielders this season, Aaron Ramsey’s performances for Arsenal have flown somewhat under the radar. The Wales international has finally established himself as Arsene Wenger’s main central midfielder this season and it’s no surprise that he is playing his best football there, rather than out on the right.

After suffering their first home loss of the season last time out, the Gunners will be looking to bounce back this weekend away to Southampton. Wenger’s side should realistically be looking to take win their next four matches, as none of those sides are in the top half of the table.

Ramsey’s Football INDEX price has gradually been climbing over the last three weeks and, like Vidal, it’s important to get ahead of the curve before everyone starts to pile on. The Arsenal No.8 has played a direct hand in nine goals in 14 Premier League appearances this season (three goals, six assists), which is already far better than the whole of the last campaign.

Investing in the 26-year-old would only set you back £1.00 a share and it could be a tremendous piece of business if you act now.

BUY – KYLIAN MBAPPE (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN)

Kylian Mbappe is arguably the most exciting young player on the planet. His development in 2017 has been extraordinary. The 18-year-old is the second most expensive player of all-time and this is only his first full calendar year as an established professional.

Paris Saint-Germain are yet to see the consistent performances that Mbappe showed at Monaco in the second half of last season, but there is no doubting his potential. His Football INDEX price has dropped 0.17% in a few weeks, but as he has already shown, his price trend can sky rocket extremely quickly. A closer inspection already shows a spike in the last three days of £0.07, which suggests the boom is about to happen once again.

Mbappe has scored PSG’s last two goals and overall has played a direct hand in 16 goals in 17 league and European appearances for his new club. For someone that has the ceiling to be one of the best players in the world, it’s not necessarily a bad thing when there is a sharp decrease in share price. This is a classic example and should reap rewards in the weeks ahead.

BUY – GEOFFREY KONDOGBIA (VALENCIA)

Valencia have enjoyed a stunning start to the season and are currently Barcelona’s closest rivals for the league title. Their unbeaten start to the season may have come to an end last time out, but they will be looking to get back to winning ways when they return to the Mestalla on Saturday.

Marcelino’s side are unbeaten at home and have scored 17 goals and conceded just three times in seven games this season. Integral to their start to the season has been loan signing Geoffrey Kondogbia, who is now being linked with a move to Tottenham.

The 24-year-old is an all action midfielder for Valencia, capable of getting points in a number of categories on Football INDEX. Not only does he tackle (2.8 per game), but he averages 47.8 passes per game at a success rate of 87.3%. Having played a direct hand in four goals as well, the Frenchman could prove a snip at £0.98 per share for your portfolios. His price has already risen several pennies in the last few days and Valencia haven’t even played in that time. Imagine the returns when he does play…

BUY – ALEKSANDAR KOLAROV (ROMA)

The 32-year-old has been a revelation for Roma since signing from Manchester City over the summer and represents great value among leading defenders in Europe this season (£1.23 per share).

Aleksandar Kolarov has won the WhoScored Man of the Match award four times in Serie A this season, more than any defender in the league and the likes of Lorenzo Insigne and Paulo Dybala (both 3). He is Roma’s highest rated WhoScored player (7.91) having played a direct hand in five goals from left-back (three goals, two assists).

Roma have fixtures against bottom half of the table sides to come in their next two matches and that should only strengthen the case to invest in the veteran defender. His price will only increase in that time, so make sure you act while it’s at it’s current value.
