The first of two Inter players after they blew Lazio away on Monday night, Denzel Dumfries was superb down the right in Rome having scored one and assisted another at the Olimpico. Those came from respective returns of three shots and one key pass as the Dutchman earned a WhoScored rating of 9.15.
Juma Bah (Real Valladolid) – 8.46
Teenager Juma Bah put in his best rated performance of the season as Real Valladolid secured a huge three points at the expense of relegation rivals Valencia last week. Bah was resolute at the back having made 13 clearances and blocked three shots on his way to a WhoScored rating of 8.46.
Sergio Gonzalez (Leganes) – 8.39
Joining Bah at the heart of the defence is Leganes centre-back Sergio Gonzalez, who returned a WhoScored rating of 8.39 in Sunday’s surprise 1-0 win at Barcelona. Gonzalez scored his second goal of the season early on against the league leaders, while six clearances and three interceptions was crucial as Leganes earned a huge three points.
Federico Dimarco (Inter) – 8.62
Rounding off the backline is the second Inter player in the side. Like Dumfries, Dimarco also scored and assisted as Inter battered Lazio, those coming from two shots and one key pass, respectively, as the Italian shone down the left.
Franck Honorat (Gladbach) – 9.20

Pape Sarr (Tottenham) – 9.19
A second Sarr makes the European Team of the Week as Tottenham star Pape Sarr features in the middle of the park. The 22-year-old scored his first Premier League goal of the season in Spurs’ resounding 5-0 win at Southampton, that coming from one of two shots, and he was tidy in possession, too, finding a teammate with 95.9% of his 74 passes to make the cut.
Son Heung-Min (Tottenham) – 9.79
With a WhoScored rating of 9.79, Son Heung-Min is the European Player of the Week. Son only played 45 minutes in Tottenham’s win over Southampton, but that was enough for the Spurs skipper to score with one of seven shots and provide a brace of assists from three key passes in a fine showing.
Rodrygo (Real Madrid) – 9.27

Alexander Isak (Newcastle) – 9.69
Joining Rodrygo on the frontline with a WhoScored rating of 9.69 is Newcastle striker Alexander Isak after his Player of the Match performance in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Leicester. Isak was directly involved in two of four goals, netting with one of four shots and providing one assist from four key passes. An additional six dribbles helped the Swede nail down his spot in this XI.
