Liverpool were made to come from behind in their 2-1 home win over Bournemouth as victory saw them edge ever closer to the Premier League title. Liverpool 2-1 Bournemouth - Sadio Mane
For 25 minutes, Liverpool fans were a little worried and while they were made to battle for all three points in their welcome of Bournemouth, the Reds emerged victorious to edge closer to the Premier League title. Sadio Mane capitalised on some slack defending by Jack Simpson before providing for Mohamed Salah, only to then himself complete the comeback in their 2-1 win over the Cherries. Three shots, three dribbles and two key passes saw Mane land the WhoScored man of the match award with a 8.69 rating.
Sheffield United 1-0 Norwich - Chris Basham
Sheffield United made it six clean sheets from their 13 home league matches with another 1-0 win in Yorkshire, this time at the expense of Norwich. They were made to work for the three points, however, with Chris Basham turning out a man of the match display. Indeed, the defender came away from the victory with a WhoScored rating of 7.99 as he won four aerial duels, made nine clearances, two interceptions and one tackle, while four successful dribbles capped a fine outing from the defender.
Southampton 0-1 Newcastle - Alex McCarthy
Southampton may have succumbed to a 1-0 home loss, but it would have been worse had Alex McCarthy not starred between the sticks. The Saints shotstopper made six saves in all in their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle, one of which was to deny Matt Ritchie from the spot on the stroke of half time, while 10 accurate long balls and one key pass saw him earn a WhoScored rating of 8.77.
Arsenal 1-0 West Ham - Bernd Leno
The second of three star goalkeepers on Saturday, Bernd Leno was again impressive for the Gunners as they left it late to secure a 1-0 home win over London rivals West Ham. The German made six saves in a clean-sheet attaining display and won one aerial duel as he came away from the clash with a WhoScored rating of 8.15.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford - Vicente Guaita
Rounding off the goalkeeping contingent of man of the match displays from Saturday's Premier League action, Vicente Guaita was key in goal as Crystal Palace secured their third win in as many league matches in a 1-0 home triumph over Watford. The Spaniard made four saves and won two aerial duels and was good value for his WhoScored rating of 8.07.

Brighton put another point between themselves and the relegation zone with a hard-fought draw at Wolves.
