These form rankings highlight the players with the highest WhoScored ratings over their past 3 appearances, each of whom must have featured in 3 of their team’s last 5 games.
Goalkeepers
Having gained a WhoScored rating of 9.19 against Everton, Tom Heaton breaks into the top 8 goalkeepers and straight to the top of the in-form charts, with an average of 7.66 over his last 3 league outings. The 29-year-old shot stopper made 7 saves at Goodison Park last weekend, 1 of which was to deny Ross Barkley from the penalty spot, with his performance landing him a place in WhoScored's European team of the week as a result.
Kasper Schmeichel also features in the top 8 of the Premier League’s goalkeepers after Leicester secured their third consecutive win, with the Dane playing a key role in the victories, as his WhoScored rating (7.10) suggests.

Defenders
Phil Jagielka (7.82) retains his place as the Premier League’s most in-form defender after shutting out the Burnley attack in their 1-0 win at Goodison Park last weekend. The Toffees have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 6 league games at home and while they face Manchester United, Jagielka will be key to maintaining their impressive recent defensive record on Merseyside.
Robert Huth soars into second with a rating of 7.76 from his last 3 league appearances, coinciding with Leicester’s run of 3 wins on the bounce. Wes Morgan (7.53) features again this week, while Pablo Zabaleta (7.59) and Michael Duff (7.57) are among those to enter the top 10 rankings.

Midfielders
Eden Hazard remains the best of the midfield bunch after yet another man of the match display last time out. The Belgian landed a WhoScored rating of 8.26 in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Manchester United, contributing to his hugely impressive average of 8.54 in his last 3 league games. Hazard has directly contributed to a Chelsea goal in each of his last 4 Premier League appearances and a majority of the Blues’ attacking moves are likely to come through him at the Emirates on Sunday.
Chris Brunt is one of five newcomers this week and jumps straight into second in the top 10 in-form midfielders. 2 assists in West Brom’s surprise 2-0 win at Crystal Palace contributed to the Northern Irishman’s average WhoScored rating (8.12) over the last three games. Esteban Cambiasso, Morgan Schneiderlin, Francis Coquelin and Wilfried Zaha are the other newcomers to join Brunt, replacing Juan Mata, Cheikhou Kouyaté, David Silva, Cesc Fàbregas and Fernandinho.

Forwards
While three of the four frontmen partook in FA Cup duties over the weekend, the top 4 in-form strikers remain unchanged, with Christian Benteke (8.80) leading the way once again. The Belgian has directly contributed to 9 of Aston Villa’s last 11 Premier League goals and he will be the Villans’ best route to goal when they face soon-to-be-dethroned champions Manchester City - who are without compatriot and captain Vincent Kompany - on Saturday.
Glenn Murray’s poor showing at home to West Brom means he drops out of the top-3, with Arsenal duo Alexis Sánchez (8.45) and Olivier Giroud (8.15) leapfrogging the Crystal Palace striker in the table. QPR hitman Charlie Austin (7.48) is a newcomer in the list, with the England hopeful expected to fire in the goals against an underwhelming West Ham. The Hammers have failed to win on the road since early December and have kept just 1 clean sheet in that run, with Austin hopeful of adding to his 17 league goals this weekend. If you're looking to save some pennies, however, Jamie Vardy could be a handy addition.
