Bologna made it six wins on the spin as they beat fellow top-four hopefuls Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday evening. Captain Lewis Ferguson led by example as he put in a player of the match performance, returning a WhoScored rating of 7.82. The Scot scored a superb winning goal for Thiago Motta's side from one of three shots and made two key passes in a sound display.
Sassuolo fell to a sixth successive away defeat with Josh Doig struggling in the 1-0 loss at Verona. Doig was wasteful in possession, returning a pass success rate of just 56.3%, while he was also dispossessed once and made one unsuccessful touch resulting in a turnover of possession.
The main talking point from AC Milan's 1-0 win at Lazio on Friday night was how the Rome side ended the match with eight players. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, though, kept a calm head as he made three tackles and completed two dribbles at the Olimpico to return a WhoScored rating of 7.03.
Chris Smalling made just his sixth league appearance of the season as Roma eased to a 4-1 win over Monza on Saturday. The 34-year-old came off the bench and returned a 100% pass success rate, made one clearance and won one aerial duel.
Bayern Munich lost further ground in the Bundesliga title race as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Freiburg on Friday night. Harry Kane returned a WhoScored rating of 6.32 in that stalemate, his third lowest in a league outing this season, as he mustered six shots and was dispossessed three times.
Eric Dier also featured in the above draw at Freiburg and earned a WhoScored rating of 6.86 for his efforts. Dier returned a pass success rate of 91.9% from his 86 attempted passes and made five clearances in Friday's draw.
Jadon Sancho - Borussia Dortmund
Once again, Jadon Sancho failed to have an impact in a Borussia Dortmund match as Edin Terzic's side earned a 2-0 win at Union Berlin. Sancho mustered just one shot and one key pass, and completed one dribble, as he came away from the victory with a WhoScored rating of just 6.67.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens - Borussia Dortmund
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens came on with 12 minutes to go in Borussia Dortmund's win at Union Berlin but the teenage winger failed to make an impact in the capital.
Jude Bellingham thought he'd won it for Real Madrid late on only for his injury time effort at Valencia to be ruled off as referee Jesus Gil Manzano contentiously blew up for full time with Brahim Diaz's cross in the air. Bellingham struggled in the 2-2 draw with Valencia with his late red card resulting in a WhoScored rating of just 5.54.
Kieran Tierney - Real Sociedad
On his first league start since January, Kieran Tierney was unable to help Real Sociedad to victory as they crashed to a 3-2 loss at Sevilla. The 26-year-old did all he could for La Real as he made three tackles and two key passes but the La Liga side geared up for their must-win welcome of PSG with a disappointing defeat.
Lille bounced back from their 3-1 loss at Toulouse last weekend with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Reims. Angel Gomes put in a pretty forgettable shift in the narrow victory, firing off three shots before his late withdrawal.
Lyon endured a night to forget as they crashed to a 3-0 home loss to Lens on Sunday. Ainsley Maitland-Niles returned a WhoScored rating of just 5.38 as the former Arsenal man received his marching orders late on.
