Sven Botman

A long-term injury absentee owing to a knee injury, Eddie Howe has suggested that Sven Botman will play again in 2024 but for now; the Dutchman is sidelined.

Jamal Lascelles

Like Botman, Jamal Lascelles is likely to sit out the rest of the year due to a knee issue. "Lascelles and Botman are longer-term with knee injuries, but we hope maybe towards the end of the year that they’ll be closer," Howe said of the centre-back pairing last month.

Lewis Miley

The teenager is close to a return to action for Newcastle after suffering an ankle injury over the summer. Barring any setbacks, Lewis Miley should return to first team action next month after the international break.

Callum Wilson

After suffering a back injury over the summer, which required surgery, Callum Wilson remains sidelined for Saturday’s game at Fulham. The England international is close to a return with Howe last month stating: "Callum is continuing his rehab from injury."

Alexander Isak

Newcastle’s latest - and severely unwanted - injury concern is star striker Alexander Isak.

The Sweden international is believed to have picked up a knock on his foot, and will require assessment if he is to play against Fulham on Saturday.
