DEFENDER – CHRIS SMALLING

DEFENDER – CEDRIC SOARES 

Cedric Soares churned out a solid defensive showing in Southampton’s 0-0 draw with Stoke City on Saturday. The right-back exhibited the proactive side to his game, making four clearances and one tackle over the 90 minutes to deny the Potters in the final third, while three key passes was a commendable return for the Saints ace, who gained 14.10 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points as a result. 

MIDFIELDER – BERNARDO SILVA 

Injuries to Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling presented Bernardo Silva with the ideal opportunity to nail down a regular starting spot and he hasn’t disappointed. The Portugal international netted the winning goal in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Chelsea, all the while making three dribbles, one tackle and one interception. MIDFIELDER – NEMANJA MATIC 

The second of two Manchester United players to make the cut, Nemanja Matic scored a sumptuous last-gasp winner at Selhurst Park on Monday night. UTILITY - HEUNG-MIN SON 

After a dip in form, Heung-min Son has looked back to his best lately, scoring four and assisting one in his last two outings. His brace in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield came from three shots on goal, with the South Korean sensation making two key passes and completing seven dribbles in the routine victory. FORWARD - RIYAD MAHREZ
