Team News

Chelsea
Sunderland
  • Chelsea will be looking to celebrate the end of the Premier League campaign with a party atmosphere and Antonio Conte has a fully fit squad to choose from.
  • Conte made wholesale changes to the side that beat Watford 4-3 on Monday and should recall his best players for their last game of the season, although John Terry should retain his spot in the team for his last ever match for Chelsea.
  • David Luiz might be given the afternoon off with one eye on the FA Cup Final after managing a knee injury throughout the season
  • David Moyes is expected to make some changes to the side that lost 2-0 away to Sunderland in midweek.
  • Steven Pienaar, Victor Anichebe and Jason Denayer remain doubts for the away side.

Prediction

  • The last day of the season will see the best team in the league face off against the worst side. There will only be one outcome here and it all depends on how much Chelsea want to celebrate their second title in three seasons.
  • Sunderland have been abysmal all season and there has been no signs of life since they were relegated. They have failed to score in seven of their last nine Premier League away games and could be on the recieving end of another pasting here.

  • Title decider.

  • Chelsea 4 - 0 Sunderland

  • Terry=gol for Sunderland, 3-3

  • chelsea win @ 4 - 1

  • Over 2.5 goals @1.33 seems like a good bet to me here.

  • @specter freee munny

  • Don't understand why people say that Pickford was one of the best GK this season. Looked like rubbish again today

  • @Spyro- Whereas he looked world class against Arsenal. Sunderland would've conceded double the amount of goals as they did if it weren't for him. He is young and playing behind a terrible defence. There aren't many 23-year old keepers who looked great for a whole season when playing behind a defence this poor. He needs to take another step up and some aspects of his game need to dramatically improve, but there is more chance of that happening when he isn't called into action every 5 minutes because the back 3, 4 or 5 have cocked up yet again.

  • I feel John terry will try his best to get on the score sheet in his last match at stamford bridge to get a perfect sendoff so a win for chelsea and a john terry goal seems likely. I can imagine sunderland trying their best to beat chelsea to cause a huge upset as they will fancy their chances because they have beat them before and leave the premier league on a positive note but chelsea will be too strong for them as this time they have kante hazard and pedro who can win this match in style for them.

  • Batshuayi scored 4 goals in 240 minutes.

  • @MrNemobody *correction: 5 goals now.
