Team News

Ingolstadt
Schalke
  • Roger should keep his spot in central midfield in his last game for Ingolstadt, with Alfredo Morales most likely remaining on the bench.
  • Pascal Groß, Sonny Kittel and Mathew Leckie compete for two spots in attacking midfield.
  • Despite Ingolstadt already being relegated, manager Maik Walpurgis is expected to field his strongest team again.
  • After Schalke's challenge for a European spot came to an end prematurely, captain Benedikt Höwedes underwent groin surgery earlier than initially planned and could be replaced by the returning Naldo here.
  • Thilo Kehrer challenges Coke for his spot at right-back.
  • Manager Markus Weinzierl could stick to a 4-4-2, with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar partnering Guido Burgstaller up front in his last match for Schalke.

Prediction

  • Ingolstadt were relegated last weekend, after they failed to win any of their last five matches. They will try to leave the Bundesliga on a positive note though and look to return to the top-tier under manager Maik Walpurgis as quickly as possible.
  • Schalke have nothing to play for after a very disappointing season as well. They could rotate in several positions, after they missed out on a European spot and have to rebuild the team in many areas in the summer break.
  • Expect this to be an open game with several chances at both ends of the pitch.

  • okay the traitor Sead Kolasinac is going to Arsenal for free. Same for Matip and Holtby. There is also new that we are going to lose both Leon Goretzka, Max Meyer and Nastasic(15 million euros). The relegated team Royal Ingolstadtmight have the answer. For that traitor Sead Kolasinac I would suggest on Markus Suttner. Both of them had 5 assists but Suttner scored goals to Kolasinac 3. It should be considered that Ingolstadt are one of the worst teams in bundesliga. For Leon Goretzka I would suggest buying talented Max Christansen. Both of them have similar physical attributes and both of them prefer skills and drive to carry the ball from midfield to opposition half. For Max Meyer I would recommend Pascal gross. Who was assist king 2. bundesliga 16 assists. Plus he can very handy when it comes to defending and can play attacking midfielder, central midfielder and on special occasion defensive midfielder as well.

  • Plus all of these three players are well versed in pressing. Something Markus Weinzierl is strugging very hard to implement at Schalke 04. So they are ready made players for Weinzierl. For Nastasic who is going on cheap next season for 15 millions euros better sign Badstuber. He was at one point defender for German National Team. And I still believe we can get that Germany Best defender again. Come Heidl sign this lad.

  • @Ffaris "traitor" smh.. just because he moves on does not mean he's a traitor.. he loves the club & the club loves him, especially the fans.

  • @dynek your missing a keyword here. moves on FREE. Same as that other good for nothing Matip.

  • home win, 2-1
