The last month of Accrington Stanley's season has been almost a continual party, yet the sense of jubilation has only enhanced the title-winners' displays; fans could be forgiven for not wanting 2017-18 to end.
The opposite could be said for Swindon Town; even when results were ostensibly positive in the first three-quarters of the campaign, both performance levels and the general connection between club and fans did not suggest a side promotion bound.
Phil Brown's appointment hasn't exactly had the desired impact with one win in nine since he arrived in March, but this is a big re-building process and keeping him in place early this summer might help streamline a crucial period of recruitment.
