Team News

Aves
Chaves
  • Aves could rotate here with an eye on next week's cup final.
  • The home side have a clean bill of health for the reception of Chaves.
  • Platiny and Perdigão are suspended for Chaves.
  • Few changes are expected from Castro.

Prediction

  • Aves have hit form at the right time, winning three of their last four league matches to secure their top-flight status for another season. At home, they have picked up 13 points from their last 18 available.
  • Chaves will have to settle for sixth spot in the league. They haven't won away from home since February but could end that streak here as Aves are focusing on the cup final.

  • Aves win. Chaves can't go 5th. Over 2.5 should be also green here

  • @rradox And Aves can't win thier 3rd consecutive match , how about that

  • @rradox Why Chaves cant go to 5th?

  • @Cannavaro69 League table, last game of the season. Number 5 has 4 more points than them, even if they win and Rio lose that won't be enough to get that spot

  • @Nef21 You didnt convinced me, If Chaves lose, and 7th, 8th, & 9th in the table won then Chaves will be in 9th place ,

  • After seeing the lineups, i'm not on an Aves win. They're hard rotating. Nice opportunity to put a small stake on Chaves!

  • @rradox Lesson of the day. At the end of season, always wait for starting elevens before you place a bet!

  • Y0:0

  • Has to be a motivation based game, and by that I mean, could go to whoever is more motivated to win this game. I find Chaves to be better and even in good form lately (despite that loss against Rio Ave) but if they can't reach the 5th spot then their only fighting for pride here.

  • @libero It is about motivation, my friend! Glad to see someone who understands Portuguese football in here. In this case I think Aves is going to build up momentum for the final against Sporting. But Luis Castro's side is always a threat!! Btw their lose to Rio Ave was one hell of a robbery!!

  • @rradox It's quite a case study that match against Rio Ave. I just saw that Chaves could mathematically drop to 9th this week (very hard though) so they also need a win to confirm a good position this season (from 6th to 9th it's still quite a blow). It's really hard to predict this one today.

  • @libero Well from the lineups I will give a slight advantage to Chaves now.

  • Boring draw
