Team News
Tottenham
Aston Villa
- Ben Davies will miss Tottenham's last two games of the season but Serge Aurier is back in training. Gareth Bale needs to be assessed given the sharp turnaround between matches.
- Japhet Tanganga was given the nod ahead of Matt Doherty at right-back and after a solid display, may keep his spot in the XI.
- Ryan Mason could name an unchanged side for Wednesday's welcome of Aston Villa, but has a host of options from the bench.
- Matty Cash will sit out the last two games of the season with a hamstring problem, which should see Ahmed El-Mohamady start at right-back.
- Trezeguet and Morgan Sanson also miss out, but Dean Smith is hopeful Tyrone Mings will return to the side on Wednesday. Kortney Hause will continue if he fails to recover in time.
- Jack Grealish could also make his first start since his return from injury having featured from the bench against Everton and Crystal Palace.
- Ross Barkley will likely play his final game for Villa on Wednesday night as he cannot face parent club Chelsea in their last game of the campaign.

Højbjerg looks ragged but perhaps it isn't surprising given that he's played over 3250 minutes this season. Tottenham need Oliver Skipp back ASAP.
Spurs have cracked under pressure.
Clown defenders
Villa seem to play much better with Grealish playing.
If Ben Davies had scored that own goal, the Twitter mob would be out for blood.
@MEHJones please ignore the random comma
Nice goal by Bergwijn. Good to see him get on the score sheet. Hopefully it will boost his confidence.
Bale starts on the bench otherwise a very strong side.
I expect Spurs to score at least 3, possibly 4 or 5. Kane, Son and Bale.
@Geolardo Bale might not be available.
@MEHJones He is having a late fitness test.
Spurs 3-0
Sorry 6th place (currently Spurs) would go into the Europa league (6th place instead of 5th) as Leicester won the fa cup and so their place would transfer to Spurs.
Basically both teams have nothing to play for.
Home win.
