Team News

Crystal Palace
Man Utd
  • Conor Gallagher is expected back in the starting XI in his last game for the club.
  • Luka Milivojevic is another that may well return to the XI given the tight turnaround.
  • Jordan Ayew will hope to keep his place in the side after scoring in midweek.
  • Eberechi Eze has started Palace's last five matches in a row and may be due a rest after such a serious injury.
  • Michael Olise is sidelined and James Tomkins and James McArthur are doubts for Sunday.
  • Marc Guehi is a doubt, so Cheikhou Kouyate could drop into centre-back.
  • Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho resumed training on Tuesday after spells out with illness but the latter is still a doubt after picking up a problem on Friday, along with Phil Jones.
  • Luke Shaw is back fit after having metal bolts in his leg removed but his wife gave birth on Friday so he may only make the bench at best at Selhurst Park.
  • Juan Mata has started back-to-back Premier League matches for Manchester United but is expected to drop back to the bench.
  • Harry Maguire will return to the starting XI in place of Victor Lindelof after United's 4-0 defeat to Brighton last time out.
  • Edinson Cavani is expected to lead the line for Manchester United with Cristiano Ronaldo sidelined due to injury.

Prediction

  • Crystal Palace blew a 2-0 lead over Everton to lose 3-2 on Thursday night. Not used to a Thursday-Sunday turnaround, fatigue could be an issue for the Eagles here.
  • Manchester United will have new manager Erik ten Hag watching in the stands so you'd expect some sort of effort from the players that has been lacking over recent months.
  • United have remarkably lost five Premier League away matches in a row. It's their worst run since a six defeats in a row on the road from 1980-1981. It just wouldn't be a surprise to see them fall to defeat with another meek performance at a lively ground.

  • I hate to admit it but this team is nothing without Tapindo. As useless as he is in creating anything, he at least scores goals.

  • Ten Hag is in the crowd thinking what the hell have i done joining Utd :)

  • Rangnick is officialy the worst manager ever for United in PL, can't figure out what Austria saw on him. Elanga and Hannibal both overrated, Shoretire and Savage not even at PL quality. Garnacho is the only one who I really believe in, I hope he will stay on his feet. Lord Maguire chosen over Varane, I would prefer giving a chance to Alvaro. Pogba is not injured anymore, he just refused to play. What a mess, it's all up to Brighton now because this lineup gives no hope.

  • @Byakuya Rangnick is the Klopp#'s grandfather and an absolute coaching genius, have a little bit respect

  • Palace 3:1 united

  • Under 3.5 goals @1.44

  • Manchester United will be looking not to blow their chance of Europa League football next season definitely...Also, keep in mind palace played on Thur on an intense game while Man Utd have had 2 weeks if rest and training,.... With the new coach in the stands and the recent news of shame among the players... They'll need to bounce back definitely..... Palace 0: United 2 Or Palace 1: 1 Utd.... Utd can't afford to lose the game

  • @Iante it seems that they could and did.
