- Clermont's XI is somewhat challenging to predict. The Auvergne side have had a busy summer, even if several key players remain.
- That said, don't expect a shift in personnel to see manager Pascal Gastien move away from his preferred 4-2-3-1.
- Grejohn Kyei and Saïf-Eddine Khaoui are also options across the forward line.
- Former Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons is making his return to France, and is likely to partner Johan Gastien in midfield.
- Kylian Mbappé's return from suspension should be the only change to the side that started the Trophée des Champions.
- Pablo Sarabia will drop to the bench with Mbappé once again available.

It's going to be exciting watching This new version of PSG and how they will all get along but I suspect Messi will be the Barcelona version of himself, although his finishing still needs to sharpen but I think this will be his season.
