  • ill never understand these big clubs which never hire actual successful ucl managers. psg and barcelona keep doing it, messis been suffering from this since rijkaard, lmao. just do like city or madrid or even chelsea and actually get one of the big managers if you are this rich. if they go for people like galtier and xavi that have only done well domestically and at smaller clubs then thats the success that theyll get. not ucl and top of europe which is what they want most cuz they dont get it. psg is unwatchably unbalanced. they got a manager known for defense and winning the league with a smaller team like that only to give him a team with several mega attacking players that barely defend. ironically their defenders got worse too. messi is naturally getting more and more rusty and needs to make up for it every game with decisive passing or goalscoring. hes by no means the team's main problem yet i mean he carried psg to points they didnt deserve. mbappe is not in peak.

  • @Icarax easy. the number of actually succesful UCL managers who are ALSO available is extremely small. That's why Bayern threw out Nagelsmann (despite being on course for a triple) just because Tuchel was available.

  • @stuckonautomatic psg should do the same when the opportunity arises and i feel like they wouldnt. also think there was more to the nagelsmann sacking. u r right but it just happens so rarely for barcelona and especially psg for how rich they are that i heavily doubt in their understanding of the game when they keep investing in superstar players but dont act quickly for top coaches. aside from pochettino, which... for me was kinda the bottom of the barrel when it comes to big managers. chelsea gets the big managers faster than both these teams, and i doubt they are more attractive to coach.

  • @Icarax dude don't drag Barcelona in to this, they have the second most CL titles on this side of the turn of the century which proves you're absolutely wrong. Wake up dude

  • @Socio4Life He's not wrong. Barcelona haven't had a decent coach since Guardioloa. That's 11 years and a bunch of humiliations in Europe. MSN won the treble despite that bum Luis Enrique and the longer he stayed, things got worse. Valverde, Setien, Koeman, Xavi - all bums. They are good for small clubs, not Barca. PSG have the same problem.

  • @agunchev Xavi is still learning, he's winning Barca's first La Liga since Messi left, with a bunch of overrated clowns, he deserves some credit. Obviously any coach pales in comparison to GOATiola.

  • @Socio4Life doesnt the fact you filter it to that short a timeframe kinda show its a temporary incidence, rather? doesnt it make more sense in terms of probability of success to appoint a tried and tested manager? geniuses like guardiola and cruyff dont come every era... rathey they are generational hence barcelona have been relatively struggling at the very top of europe outside of like a 7 season interval/generation in this century and like a couple more good european campaigns in its whole history. getting tried and tested managers like ancelotti, tuchel, mourinho, certainly worked more (in KO comps especially) for most clubs than getting the likes of domestic "geniuses" like valverde and setien

  • @Icarax Lorient scored after you commented lol

  • both to score&over 3.5. Mbappe to score

  • 9th defeat. Yes.

  • PSG get a Red card every week
