  • Fredrik Midtsjo is expected to start in midfield as Lucas Torreira is suspended.
  • Kazimcan Karatas had to be subbed of against Istanbulspor last time out. He will be assessed, but is unlikely to start here. Emre Tasdemir, who is match-fit again, will deputise.

Prediction

  • Sivasspor managed to beat Kasimpasa 2-1 last time out. This was a very important win for Calimbay as his team's lacklustre displays so far this season have frustrated their fans. Sivasspor's success in previous seasons relied on their ability get points from better and more talented sides. This, they achieved, by defending in a disciplined manner and as a team. Should they manage to do that here, they will be able to put an end to the leader's winning streak.
  • Galatasaray overcame Istanbulspor 2-1 last time out. Getting all three points in the first game after the break was of course important, but it is also fair to say that the Lions' performance was far from being impressive. One expects a team with such massively talented attackers to create more chances and score more, but so far this season Buruk and his players have not been able to meet that expectation.
  • The weather conditions will be far from ideal for Galatasaray here as the temperatures in Sivas are 10-15 degrees lower than in Istanbul. The hosts might cause a major upset here.
