What the hell is going on in the Premiership in terms of referring as well??? City's 2nd goal was clearly offside, as Akanji was interfering with the play (he was in Leno's line of vision). Even after the VAR the referee was awarding a goal: I think the referees are clearly paid off.....

Because they spend a fortune on strengthening their teams (like Westham) and then they don't know how to use those new players: they play for safety and ball possession instead of focusing on scoring goals (the latter should be obvious when you have good players at your disposal). Also, the pace of the game is too slow, allowing for opposing defences to set themselves up properly, which in turn kills any turnover or goal scoring opportunity.
