Rashford points out his head whenever he scores but he doesn't know how to use it, could've scored a hat-trick by now and finish the game.
@Byakuya aren’t you a united fan? Crazy bad take, somehow can only care about the chances not taken rather than the 30 yarder he scored, which also happens to be the only moment of quality from any united player so far and the reason it’s 1-0. Yet out of 11 players, he’s the player singled out by you, for criticism. I bet you’re the type of fan to say “sell rashford but bring Greenwood back” lmao. No footballing heart, no footballing brain = the average internet united fan unfortunately.
@normal_fan99 I've highly likely been in Old Trafford more times than you, I won't say I'm sure because I can't judge random guys on the internet without knowing nothing about them like you. The goal was more about luck than skill, tell me one thing he improved compared to 5 years ago apart from his height and weight. He lacks mentality to be better and his head clearly not fully focused there, he was supposed to be the star of this team.
@Byakuya he scored 30 times last season, didn’t he? I understand the negativity towards the club and performances as this team has been nothing but poor since 2013, but seriously can’t understand the attitude towards the players we have. If rashford gets nothing but criticism from fans like you, despite being the only reason we are in a game, then I don’t think we’ll ever win a thing. The way fans have turned on rashford is astonishing, people act like it wasn’t last season that he was our best player. But it was, and this whole team isn’t good enough. And if you can’t see that dismissing a beautiful goal from one of our homegrown players, from 30 yards bar-down in the derby as nothing but “luck” is a problem, then I fear for all of these players and their desire to stay at a club with fans like this.
@normal_fan99 He was arguably the worst player on the pitch after that goal, wasted 2 big chances and out now. If the game finishes like this, that goal will also be useless. Just like Persie said if you will go back to 2013, a draw was OK at Arsenal but not here at United. Or like Keane said, Martial scores a goal in every 20 matches and then everyone forget about how bad he has been. If you don't have the winning mentality, you can't be part of United. If you can't take criticism while you're on your way to success, you will never reach your destination. That makes you no different than a fan who believe that United will win the league after being decent for one game, time to take the L now.
@Byakuya United is the only one taking L’s, and regardless of disagreeing, you and I as fans take the same L’s. I don’t even disagree about the winning mentality, I think it’s time to realize that if united wins a title I think barely any of these players would be apart of it. My point remains, if someone who is actually a fan, who has love for this club and the desire for them to win, is willing to say that a beautiful goal in an important game by one of our very own is luck, then I’m worried. There isn’t much to enjoy about watching united, but as someone who has obviously been apart of the old trafford “faithful,” isn’t it good that a Manchester kid born and raised is scoring bangers at the etihad? But instead the only comments are negative AND personal. I don’t think many world class players would succeed here, and I love rashford even if he’s playing poorly, which he is. At least enough to not dismiss a goal like that as luck, leave that to the Liverpool fans on Twitter.
United are remarkably incapable of stringing together any attacking pattern
Personally I think United will get eviscerated, but I’ll hope for a miraculous draw
Rodri is actually City's most important player. Not the best, but the most important.
Haaland and KDB will control the game.Man City 3-0
MU bottled it from start to finish.
Foden pure class
United to get rolled
lets all pray for utd. it will require a miracle
The amrabat loan is exactly like the Arthur Melo loan to Liverpool, except Manchester United keeps on playing him
bring Solskjaer back ;)
Ederson, Walker (C), Stones, Dias, Ake, Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Doku, Haaland
Man city to receive a red card, corners from every side, controversial offsides and penalty. 2-2
Man Utd more like Manchester Blockers
Man Utd win to nil
United Onana Dalot Varane Evans Lindelof Mainoo Casemiro Fernandes (c) McTominay Garnacho Rashford
SUBS Ortega Moreno, Kovacic, Alvarez, Gomez, Gvardiol, Akanji, Nunes, Bobb, Lewis
If thats a line-up of United, then ice-hockey score on the cards, unless ETH will play a bunker as they did at Anfield. Cards should flow -> Casemiro, Amrabat, Bruno. Garnacho=Rashford to have shots on target. Haaland to score ;)
7-0 city
