Team News

Man Utd
Arsenal
  • Erik ten Hag could remain without as many as 11 first-team players here.
  • The United boss may have no choice but to continue with Jonny Evans and Casemiro at centre-back.
  • Jurrien Timber has made appearances for Arsenal's under-21 side, and could make his long-awaited return to the first-team squad here.

Prediction

  • After a disappointing draw with Burnley at Old Trafford, Manchester United were thrashed by Crystal Palace on Monday night.
  • Erik ten Hag's side have fallen to eighth place in the Premier League, and could go without European football next season.
  • Arsenal maintained their title push with a comfortable 3-0 win over Bournemouth last time out.
  • The Gunners have not won a league match in front of supporters at Old Trafford since 2006.

  • Desperately hoping as a Liverpool fan of 12 years that Arsenal win this title. If City win, I truly believe that's the downfall of the division.

  • @sarigginsUSA Even me, as Chelsea fan, would prefer Arsenal to win because it's already boring to see City winning year after year. Even when they're having a "bad" season. It's really not good for the league.

  • Something is well and truly brutally wrong about the Premier League recently. For a while now, the only big games worth a toss have been Liverpool vs City, Tottenham vs City, Tottenham vs Arsenal, and sometimes Liverpool vs United. Most games at any level of the table are hopelessly boring. The saviors of the league have been Luton, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and sometimes Arsenal and Newcastle, but by and large, games are boring with very little end-to-end action.

  • @sarigginsUSA Man Utd are rarely boring, today are Arsenal who kills the spectacle

  • @koziol.mutant In fairness, their games are open, but often it's a case of a horrific lack of pattern of play vs anyone with a gameplan. Today was a surprisingly competent performance from United despite the result. But yes, a lot of United games are entertaining, just from the perspective of the opponents moreso.

  • Arsenal are playing liquid football under Arteta. It's a joy to watch.

  • @Sputnik Insane take, this has been a piss poor game especially 2nd half. I fully hope Arsenal win the league over City, but this is about the last game I'd use to advertise the PL.

  • @Sputnik if sb likes boring titi faka then yes

  • United have actually been the better side, something rarely applicable this season

  • must be said- from what he has ETH set them up tactically very well. Only one issue - I would like to see how would Amrabat perform when playing as CD instead of Casemiro (can't be worse than him). The good for Man Utd's future is that Garnacho and Diallo are hot prospects.

  • MAN UTD Onana, Dalot, Casemiro, Evans, Wan-Bissaka, Mainoo, Amrabat, Diallo, McTominay, Garnacho, Hojlund.

  • @Marbella Amrabat in midfield, Casemiro as Cd, Wan-Bissaka left back. Persistence with worst :)

  • @koziol.mutant actually Wan Bissaka plays on the right

  • @koziol.mutant and Amrabat covers behind wing backs as advanced CD switching places with Casemiro when defending

  • ARSENAL Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Odegaard, Partey, Rice, Saka, Havertz, Trossard.

  • Casemiro and Evans at centre defence again :)

  • LOL No Bruno again for United, Hide The wife And kids, this could get ugly

  • BTTS, ov2.5 and Arsenal to win.

  • 3-2 United think Arsenal are going too bottle it with a thriller.

  • Arsenal need to Win this and hope Man City drop points at Spurs on Tuesday.

  • why do you make ETH logical here? he persists with AWB as left back and Dalot as right back. Dalot is equally "good" on either side, whereas AWB is losing 50% of his abilities as a left-back, but he is constantly put on that side. The same goes for Casemiro, he is even more valuable when box to box, and pretty useless as CD, whereas Amrabad could have been used as he sometimes deputies in NT (when nominal CD gets red).

  • Safest Bet is BTTS

  • Hopefully Arsenal will not 'bottle it'.

  • I'm going to play it safe on this one. Arsenal should be winning but depends what Man U turn up. So just 2 or 3 cards for me in a Bet Builder. Wan Bisaka gonna have his hands full with Saka and Odegard. White gonna struggle with Garnacho. No doubt Man U will get some dodgy VAR go their way and get a random penalty. So if Bruno is back might do him for a goal.

  • I hope it will be a draw @2-2

  • 0:3/4. Of anything United will get a consolation goal.

  • United 2.1

  • @Alic chicken have teeth

  • As I said before Coventry game, I will gladly take 8th place over useless European football after missing out on Champions League. Arsenal have the potential to get their revenge for 8-2 and Evans from that team, after 13 years, will be playing again. They need as much as goal difference possible in case City gets a draw, I would sell my ticket rather than going this game.

  • @Byakuya 2-8 if so:)

  • @Byakuya Probably the right opinion. United were what started our collapse, but Europa contributed largely to the fatigue and injuries that ultimately caught up with us. Also, to really progress, United need to clear out a lot of players and surely would not have the depth immediately to cope with Thursday night football

  • United will get massacred here

  • 5-1 arsenal

  • draw

  • Arsenal usually struggle at Old Trafford. However, this is the strongest Arsenal since the invincibles and this is the weakest Man Utd in more than 35 years! It will depend on how Arsenal handle the nerves. If Man Utd set a weak line up like they did at Palace, then Arsenal should tear them apart. Man Utd 1-2 Arsenal.

  • 0-2 Arsenal

  • Huge pressure game for Arsenal but they should Win against a Man Utd side who have plenty of injuries.

  • squeaky bum time for arsenal, but unfortunately I see double chance Manchester United here!

  • @FF2021 Yeah double chance of back to back 4-0 Ls

  • @7mJ4BsHbq8tXk98_ Fernandes is back.

  • @7mJ4BsHbq8tXk98_ you’ve got a hard on for this guy
