  • 3-2 from 0-2?

  • People acting like Guardiola, Klopp or even Arteta built teams so strong that they're getting points which would make them champions every year in the past, meanwhile the reality is it's the lower sides got weaker. Over 40 points considered as safety zone in the past, West Ham even got relegated with 42 points in early 2000's and look at the table now. PL is nowhere near tough as it used to be, players getting penalties for diving all the time and defenders are relied on creating chances rather than actually defending. Talented players get stolen by big clubs at young ages, weak teams left by only miracles to be successful. Yes, it's the farmer's league now and not a single manager or team is responsible for it.

  • @Byakuya That said, I do think the sheer financial doping from City has killed the competitive intrigue of the league. It’s one thing for United to spend money to strengthen what was already successful largely via academy products, but what City has done…

  • @Byakuya I feel like this is kinda a revisionist take. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, United have all consistently with some downturns and some upturns been top 4, City and Spurs are simply newer to the party. This season is a bit of an outlier in how poor the promoted sides + Forest are, but player for player the standards are much higher today. If you compare even a decade ago with today, players like Connor Wickham and Dwight Gayle, with all due respect, were regulars for lower-mid table clubs while now even a wetwipe like Maupay is better than those two.

  • @sarigginsUSA They're just more popular, not way better. Maupay would get his leg into his hands and sit on the bench for all year, physical level was much higher for those fast players to compete if we're talking about standards. Even the worst side had always one or two great player in the squad anyway, that's the history of PL.

  • @Byakuya I think the lower teams are indeed weaker, but the mid-table teams are much stronger than they were before. Aston Villa, Brighton, Brentford, West Ham, Newcastle... all them are doing really well against the big 6, and that makes the league more interesting to watch. But the predictability of Man City winning the title effortlessly is quite boring nowadays.

  • @MrNemobody No, they're as strong as they should be. It's the bigger teams who perform like mid-table teams. How many of those "big 6" actually playing like a big team recently? They have big names but just names, performing in a level much lower than they expected to do. City shining among them thanks to their squad depth, record transfer fees in most positions.

  • @Byakuya true, the financial gap has widened in every area of our lives. The same goes for football clubs, maybe financial and sustainability rules will do something (doubt a bit, as rules are always enforced not fully and not for all).

  • 2:2

  • Moyes the last hope for the Prem’s long term health

  • 3-1. Foden to score along with alvarez

  • @LM10GOAT told ya

  • Miracles happen. 4-4 draw

  • 5-0 hattrick haaland brace for Foden, 4x consecutive champions

  • @FF2021 Boring, a real farmer's league.

  • 5-0 robot hattrick...if Chelsea and Palace can do it...lol...come on Pep......Let KDB rest (maybe sub in at 89th minutes...) and play Doku from the start...

  • @AramisMick STFU SHITTY FAN !
