Team News

Rotherham
Blackburn
  • Matt Taylor will be without the suspended Cafu this weekend, so expect Dexter Lembikisa to start on the right with Fred Onyedinma pushing up.
  • Lee Peltier picked up a calf injury just 13 minutes into his season against Stoke and will miss the visit of Blackburn as he kicks off his recovery process.
  • With Thomas Kaminski gone, Jon Dahl Tomasson could hand a debut to new signing Leopold Wahlstedt in between the sticks on Saturday.
  • Attacking trio Arnór Sigurdsson, Jack Vale and Sam Gallagher are all confirmed absentees for the trip to the New York Stadium.

Prediction

  • Rotherham's first game of the season was all but finished before half-time last weekend as the Millers conceded three goals in the opening 45 minutes to a star-studded Stoke side. Matt Taylor has a tough job on his hands to keep Rotherham in the Championship, particularly without Chiedozie Ogbene and Wes Harding, both of whom moved elsewhere this summer.
  • A youthful Blackburn side showed plenty of attacking flair on the opening day to claim a 2-1 home win against West Brom. A four-goal haul against Walsall on Tuesday night will give more confidence to Jon Dahl Tomasson's side, who have recruited smartly to fill the void left by Ben Brereton Diaz's departure.
