Team News

Sevilla
Cadiz
  • Adria Pedrosa returns from injury and will be available at full-back. Loic Bade returns from suspension to bolster Sevilla's back line.
  • Erik Lamela is the only fresh absence for the club - he will be out until late may with a knee injury. Dodi Lukebakio could start in replacing him.
  • Darwin Machis returns to fitness and could prove as an extra attacking option as Cadiz chase a second consecutive victory.
  • The visitors will likely make few changes due to their significant injury list.

Prediction

  • Sevilla welcome Cadiz to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Wednesday night with the chance to relegate them if results were to sway Celta Vigo's way this week. Cadiz have been chasing the 17th placed side for almost three months, just keeping up with a victory here and there - though their efforts look like they might not be enough.
  • Sevilla could reach the top half of the table in 10th with a victory at home - the first chance they've had to escape the bottom half of the table. The reverse fixture was a 2-2 draw back in October though the hosts have three victories in their last five and Youssef En Nesyri is on fire at the moment, scoring five goals in the last five games.
  • Despite Cadiz not being officially down yet, this challenge against an experienced La Liga side could be a step too far for them.
