Team News

Osasuna
Real Betis
  • Unai Garcia is back and available to start after his knock. Ante Budimir is still sidelined with an injury to his rib.
  • Johan Mojica returned last week to bolster the defence, only to concede three goals to Granada on the weekend. Jagoba Arrasate could look to reshape for Betis.
  • Isco is suspended having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Sevilla in the derby. Rodri could replace him in the number 10 position.
  • Cedric Bakambu is out for a couple of weeks, at least, with a muscle injury and he will be a big miss up top for Manuel Pellegrino. Willian Jose will have to step up.

Prediction

  • Osasuna welcome Real Betis to Pamplona on Sunday afternoon, and are looking to give their fans a deserved showing this weekend after embarrassingly losing 3-0 to Granada only six days ago. The hosts have returning players while key Betis stars Isco and Cedric Bakambu are out through both injury and suspension.
  • Real Betis won the reverse fixture between the two back in October, running out 2-1 victors at el Benito Villamarin. Osasuna could be for the taking this weekend, but Betis have not kept a clean sheet in nine, something Jagoba Arrasate will be milling over. A win for the visitors would mark it for them as one of the most important wins of their season, as they would climb above Real Sociedad to claim that final European spot in La Liga.
  • Osasuna should show some fight being back at home in front of their fans, but Betis will have been waiting for this one for a while now. Betis victory is the sensible pick here.
