Team News

Real Madrid
Cadiz
  • Jude Bellingham could be rested for this one as he suffered a virus last week and had been knocked out of shape for both the Sociedad and Bayern ties.
  • David Alaba and Thibaut Courtois were both sitting on the bench against Bayern Munich as their long recoveries from injury culminate at the end of the season.
  • However, these injuries are much more complicated than at first glance. Despite Courtois making the bench midweek Belgium's national team coach has ruled the keeper out of Euro 2024.
  • Aiham Osou is a doubt for the weekend with a knock, though Cadiz will need him for their fight for safety.
  • Javi Hernandez should replace Lucas Pires after the Brazilian suffered a nasty bruise against Mallorca.

Prediction

  • Real Madrid welcome Cadiz to the Bernabeu as they edge ever closer to their third La Liga title since 2019/20. After holding Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw in the Champions League on Tuesday, Ancelotti's men will aim to continue their six game unbeaten run against the visitors.
  • If results go their way this weekend, Cadiz could go within three points of Celta Vigo and safety, as they bide their time in their bid for safety. The visitors know it could go down to the last games of the season as they face Las Palmas and Almeria on the last two match days. Real Madrid could be crowned Champions as early as next week with a victory at the Bernabeu on Saturday evening.
  • Real Madrid clear favourites, and deserving champions, here.

  • @CragHack He's still young, I'm sure if he keeps playing constantly he can still improve. But coming from the bench most of the matches doesn't help him.
