Prediction

Heracles were humbled 4-1 in their opening Eredivisie match at Johan Cruijff Arena against Ajax while NEC suffered a 4-3 defeat against Excelsior at home which extended their winless streak in Eredivisie opening round matches to four games.
When the sides last met in Eredivisie action, they played out a goalless draw at Goffertstadion in January 2022.
NEC, though, have got the better of Heracles lately, unbeaten in their last three Eredivisie matches (two wins and one draw).
Heracles is seeking their first league win over Heracles since December 2016.
Youri Baas, Sontje Hansen, and Koki Ogawa are the early leading scorers for NEC while Mario Engels has netted Heracles' only Eredivisie goal this season.
