- It's been a busy summer for Derek McInnes, as an overhaul is taking place in East Ayrshire. So far, so good for Killie as they advanced in the League Cup thanks to three victories from four group stage matches.
- Goalkeeping duo Will Dennis and Kieran O'Hara have arrived from Bournemouth - on loan - and Colchester United respectively. Central defenders Stuart Findlay, Corrie Ndaba, Robbie Deas and Lewis Mayo have arrived from Oxford United, Ipswich Town, Inverness CT and their opening weekend opponents.
- Kyle Magennis has signed for Killie from Hibernian. Matty Kennedy has rejoined the club from Aberdeen, with his Dons teammate Marley Watkins joining him in Ayrshire.
- Rangers manager Michael Beale has signed several summer recruits to the club, in order to wrestle back the Scottish Premiership title from city rivals Celtic and prevent the Hoops from clinching the domestic treble again this campaign.
- Goalkeeper Jack Butland joins the Gers from Crystal Palace. Defenders Dujon Sterling and Leon Balogun, resigned as cover, join from Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers respectively.
- Kieran Dowell has followed Todd Cantwell from Norwich to Glasgow. Abdallah Sima has signed on loan from Brighton for the season. And in offensive areas, big money has been spent on former Feyenoord striker Danilo, Cremonense forward Cyriel Dessers and former Atalanta man Sam Lammers.
Just crown Celtic champions already.
