- St Johnstone boss Steven MacLean named three to the Saints side that held Aberdeen at Pittodrie in a goalless draw, before they were thumped 4-0 in Paisley by St Mirren on Saturday in what proved his final match as Saints manager.
- Two changes came at left wing-back and right wing-back, as Diallang Jaiyesimi was handed his first Saints start on the left-hand side and James Brown came in on the right-hand side. Drey Wright and Graham Carey missed out completely.
- Luke Jephcott dropped to the bench, as Nicky Clark started with Dara Costelloe in attack. Tony Gallacher, Cammy MacPherson, Jay Turner-Cooke, Stevie May and Chris Kane all came off the bench at the weekend so may be included here.
- Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes named one enforced change to the Killie team beat Livingston 3-1 at Rugby Park, before they made it two home wins from as many matches as they beat Aberdeen 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
- Stuart Findlay, Joe Wright and Lewis Mayo continued as the Killie back three. Danny Armstrong started on the right hand side of midfield, as David Watson, Brad Lyons and Liam Polworth started in central berths.
- The only alteration saw Matty Kennedy replace the injured Corrie Ndaba on the left. Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins continued in attack, with both netting a goal against the Dons in Killie's weekend win.
