- Stephen Robinson named four changes to the St Mirren side that fell to a 3-0 defeat to Celtic in their last league match, before booking their place in the Scottish Cup fifth round courtesy of a sole goal success against Queen of the South.
- James Bolton accompanied weekend goalscorer Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser in the Buddies backline as Richard Taylor made way for Kwon Hyeok-kyu to make his debut. Elvis Bwomono made his first Saints start at right wing-back against the League 1 outfit, replacing Ryan Flynn.
