- Hibs boss Nick Montgomery named an unchanged Hibernian team that picked up a first league win since the 9th December as they beat Dundee 2-1 at Easter Road at the weekend, before a 1-1 derby draw at Tynecastle on Wednesday night.
- Rocky Bushiri made a first start since December against Dundee, having been away with DR Congo at the African Cup of Nations, replacing Nectarios Triantis in the Hibees' defence to join Lewis Miller, Will Fish and Jordan Obita.
- Emiliano Marcondes scored against Hearts with his second goal in three games. Myziane Maolida, who netted the weekend winner, remained on the left. Dylan Vente, who fired Hibs ahead from the spot on Saturday, continued as the Hibees' sole striker.
- Interim Ross County boss Don Cowie named just one change to the Staggies side that clinched a huge three points in a 3-2 victory over relegation rivals Livingston on Saturday, before being held at home by St Mirren in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
- Ryan Leak and Michee Efete continued alongside Loick Ayina in the back three. Josh Reid and Eli King - who replaced Teddy Jenks - started at left wing-back and right wing-back respectively.
- Victor Loturi and Max Sheaf continued in midfield. Yan Dhanda was absent through injury, so Jordan White - who scored against St Mirren - joined Eamonn Brophy - who bagged a brace against Livi - and Simon Murray in attack.
